How does it work?

A matchmaking event is a quick and easy way to meet potential co-operation partners. Participants can meet and greet at high speed. The 20-minute slots are usually long enough to build connections, then the time’s up and the next meeting starts.

Register and submit a collaboration profile describing your activities and business proposal.
After the initial registration steps, you must then fill in the Marketplace section. All participants should publish at least 1 Marketplace Opportunity: project, product, service, request or investment opportunity related to the matchmaking. It’s advisable to also add pictures and videos regarding your product or service, to make your profile more eye-catching and likely to attract interest.

> All participants with meetings will have free admission to the BEYOND Exhibition. We will e-mail your free ticket to you with a QR-code to enter the Fair. You can go directly to the entrance, where your QR-code will be scanned.

This ticket gives access for 1 registered participant with meetings. If a second person from your company / organization is accompanying you to perform meetings, please fill in your profile account > "organizer questions" the name + e-mail address of the person who is accompanying you at the meetings. Also send an email to nagy@sbe.sbe.org.gr with the person’s name, email address and day of their visit. We will send her/him a personal ticket. You can use the QR-code for the duration of the B2B event.

What the B2B offers:-

  1. We promote your business profile
    Your profile will be published and promoted on this public access website so it will be visible before, during and after the event.
  2. Pre-arranging bilateral meetings (20-minute meetings)
    Well in advance before the event, you can request meetings and also you may receive meeting requests.
  3. Your personal meeting schedule
    All meeting requests will be scheduled by the B2B event organisers using the scheduling function of the b2match platform. You will receive your personal schedule by email a few days prior to the first day of the B2B. You can also download the B2Match app.

What is a Brokerage Matchmaking Event?


Step-by-step guide

1. Online registration

Register online and submit your co-operation profile.

In your profile you can state what kind of technology/product/expertise you are offering, what kind of co-operation you are looking for, and which ideas you would like to discuss with potential collaboration partners.

All co-operation profiles will be published online and will be available for all registered participants to see. You can change / update / add to your profile at any time.

2. Promotion of published profiles

The B2B will be promoted by the organisers of this event. Furthermore, all registered B2B participants will be able to view your co-operation profile.

A statistical analysis of 40 matchmaking events showed that high-quality profiles are visited about 50 to 150 times BEFORE the event and will still be viewed several times AFTER the event.

Your co-operation profile is your business card, therefore it is worthwhile spend a while to compile a comprehensive description of what your company / organization does and to complement it with detailed and attractive marketplace opportunities for your products / technologies / services.

3. Selection and booking of bilateral meetings

Email notification

You will be informed by email when you can start booking bilateral meetings. Check which co-operation profiles are the most promising and of interest to you, whether specifically or more general.

Search options and filters allow a quick identification of the most suitable participants/co-operation profiles. Within a few minutes you should be able to identify potential future business partners.

Once you have found the most promising business partners, you can select them and submit a request for a bilateral meeting with them. You can add further meetings at any time, but please be aware that the meeting bookings are managed on the principle "first come - first served" and according to participants’ availability.

Remember: you can request meetings, but you can also receive meeting requests from other participants that you must accept or reject in good time in order to ensure the efficient scheduling of your meetings!

Your personal meeting schedule

A few days before the event, you will receive an e-mail with your individual meeting schedule. In any case, you can constantly check your meeting schedule online throughout the meeting booking process. This meeting schedule gives information about the day and time, the meeting table number, and who you are going to meet.

4. At the event

At the registration desk, you will receive an updated version of your meeting schedule including any last-minute meeting changes and new additional bookings. Your personal meeting schedule lists your meetings in chronological order with the following information:-

  • Name of your b2b meeting contact
  • Dedicated meeting table number
  • Meeting date and time (20-minute slot).

Our staff will be at your disposal for any assistance you may require throughout the duration of the matchmaking event.
